Along with the cycling I’ve been trying to get the running starting again after the winter lay off. Not doing anything particularly huge at the moment. Have decided to spend January just doing Route 2 or something very similar. Pretty determined this year to try and take it easy and not end up with any injuries, so starting with a good base seems like a good plan. And I’m doing plenty more stretching this time as well.
It’s feeling better each time I go out. So hopefully next week I’ll start adding in some of the longer routes. Hopefully be back up to half marathon distance by Easterish.
