Didn’t take too many as I was more interested in practicing or getting ready for my (single) bout. I also think I tried to keep the ISO settings too low, the shutter speeds weren’t enough to really freeze motion. It’s amazing quite how fast kendo is, but you don’t notice it until you can really see how far a kendoka/shinai actually moves in 1/60th of a second.This weekend we have Matsumoto sensei (British coach) visiting for a mini seminar and kyusha grading. So that’s something to look forward to.
